PHOTOCHROMIC FILM

Our eaux Photochromic film is an excellent choice for enhancing the image quality of storefront or corporate office building displays. We offer a range of options, all of which provide the same desirable properties that satisfy our customers. One distinctive property of the photochromic film is its ability to darken when exposed to high-intensity light, such as UV rays. Conversely, the film turns clear when the amount of triggering light is absent.

The primary feature of these films is their ability to minimize glare from UV rays. It is the remarkable combination of blocking UV rays and significantly reducing glare that makes the Photochromic film highly sought-after.

           Key Features:

  • Blocks glare, infrared, and UV light while offering an optimal view.
  • Provides effective temperature regulation through excellent insulation properties.
  • The photochromic compounds in the film exhibit thermal responsiveness, becoming darker or lighter in response to high or low-intensity light. This thermal process, known as “temperature dependency,” prevents the film from becoming excessively dark during extremely hot weather. Conversely, the film will darken significantly in cold weather. It’s important to note that in colder temperatures, a cold film takes longer to respond compared to a warm film due to the absence of sufficient activating light.
  • Our eaux Photochromic window film effectively filters 99% of UVA light, as well as UVB, helping to prevent sunburn and reduce the risk of skin cancer.
